Aside from the world’s fastest tag, Intel claims that the i9-12900KS delivers up to 5.5 GHz max turbo frequency. In comparison, AMD’s Ryzen 9 5900X has a base clock speed of 4.8 GHz, so expect significant performance speeds from the new Intel processor.

Intel’s proprietary technologies, such as Thermal Velocity Boost and Adaptive Boost Technology, support the fast processing speed. And, like any other high-end processor, Intel claims that the i9-12900KS will give even the most extreme gamers “the ultimate gaming experience.”
