Today, Xiaomi will hold a new event at which expects to unveil a new Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 series. The company hasn’t revealed the device’s name, but it might be Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus 5G, which is already available in China. As the device has been over offline retail stores, tipster Xiaomi believes the company will likely launch it in the global market.

Furthermore, earlier this year, the company launched three Redmi Note 11 series phones in China, with two of them making their global and Indian debuts with slightly different specifications. The third device is the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ expects to release globally.

However, the teaser posted by Xiaomi suggests that the company will announce a new smartphone. Xiaomi mentions “Ultimate is coming” in one of its tweets, implying that the company is planning to release a more powerful smartphone. We’ll find out in a few hours. The event will begin today at 8:00 p.m. GMT+8, which is 5:30 p.m. in India.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus is available in China with a 6.67-inch display that supports Full HD+ resolution. It has an AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate support. Corning Gorilla Glass protects the screen.

While a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset powers the Chinese model, a tweet posted by Xiaomi suggests that the global model could be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920.

The device has three rear cameras, one with a 108-megapixel primary sensor, one with an 8-megapixel sensor, and one with a 2-megapixel sensor. The global model may include a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front. It expects to have a 4,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is already on the market in India, albeit under a different name. The device is like the Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge 5G. The specifications and features of both devices are identical, and the company has only changed the name.
