Honor has finally launched their most awaited Magic 3 series of flagship smartphones in China. The Magic 3 series consists of the vanilla Honor Magic 3 alongside the more premium Honor Magic 3 Pro and Magic 3 Pro+. The devices share a lot of similarity in specifications but the camera setup is what they primarily differ in. Without any further ado, this a quick rundown of the specs and prices of the newly launched Honor’s Magic 3 series.

Honor Magic 3 Series Price and Availability

The Honor Magic 3 price starts at €899 and comes in two distinct designs. The Golden Hour and Blue Hour colour variants come with a synthetic leather design. On the other hand, the classic Black and White colour variants come with a glass back design.

On the other hand, the Honor Magic 3 Pro price starts at €1,099. The device comes in the Golden Hour, Black and White colour options. When it comes to availability of the devices, they will launch in China. The smartphones will also launch globally later on.

All three of the Magic 3 series smartphone come with a curved 6.76-inch OLED 120Hz full-HD+ display. In addition, the display panels on the devices come with 10-bit color output support as well. Moreover, we can also see a pill-shaped notch design at the front which houses their 13MP selfie shooter. The smartphones also feature 3D ToF depth sensor for additional face unlock security. When it comes to software, the devices run on Android 11 with the Magic UI 5 custom skin on top. Moreover, the devices come with Google Mobile Services as well which brings back the Google Play Store support to the smartphones.

The smartphones come with slightly different camera setups which is the main point of difference between the three. The Magic 3 and Magic 3 Pro feature a 50MP Sony IMX 766 primary sensor along with a 64MP monochrome sensor. Additionally, there is also a 13MP ultrawide sensor in the setup. The Pro model also gets a 64MP sensor. However, this is a telephoto sensor which comes with 3.5x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. Lastly, the Pro Plus model gets three 64MP cameras alongside the primary 50MP sensor.

Honor has also collaborated with IMAX to bring cinematic video recording features to the devices. The smartphones will come with LOG format support which brings an improved image quality and enhanced post-production editing flexibility. The smartphones also come with eight 3D LUT color grading profile support which allows users to enhance their videos.

On the processor front, the Honor Magic 3 series devices are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC. The octa-core flagship chipset is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. The Magic 3 and 3 Pro pack 4,600 mAh batteries along with 66W fast charging support. The handsets also come with 50W wireless charging support via Qi charger. The Magic 3 comes with an IP54 water and dust resistance rating. Meanwhile, this rating goes up to IP68 on the Pro and Pro Plus variant.
