Fresh Apple iPhone Ultra and Apple iPhone 18 leaks have revealed new details about Apple’s upcoming premium smartphones ahead of their expected September launch. According to recent reports, Apple is preparing to introduce the long-rumoured iPhone Ultra, alongside the Apple iPhone 18 Pro and Apple iPhone 18 Pro Max, with notable upgrades in battery capacity, design and performance.
The latest leaks also suggest that Apple could increase prices for some iPhone 18 models due to rising component costs. While the company has not officially confirmed any details, the rumours indicate that this year’s premium iPhones may receive some of the biggest hardware changes in recent years.
iPhone Ultra Leaks Suggest Bigger Battery And Premium Upgrades

One of the biggest highlights from the latest iPhone Ultra leaks is the battery upgrade. Tipster Digital Chat Station claims that Apple’s battery supplier has certified two separate battery cells, a design commonly used in foldable smartphones.

The two battery cells reportedly have capacities of:
- 1,921mAh
- 2,962mAh
Together, they provide a rated capacity of 4,883mAh, which could be marketed as a 5,000mAh battery. If accurate, this would make the iPhone Ultra one of the largest battery-equipped iPhones ever.
The foldable iPhone is also expected to compete directly with premium foldable smartphones by offering better battery life and improved multitasking.
Leaked specifications include:
- Foldable “book-style” design
- Around 5,000mAh battery
- Dual battery cell setup
- Expected launch in September 2026
- Premium flagship positioning
The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are also tipped to receive larger batteries compared to the current generation, although Apple has not confirmed the exact capacities.
Price Hike And Design Changes Also Expected
The latest iPhone Ultra leaks indicate that Apple could raise prices for the upcoming lineup because of higher manufacturing costs. Reports suggest that expensive NAND storage, DRAM memory and Apple’s next-generation 2nm processor are increasing production expenses.
Some reports claim that select storage variants could become up to $200 more expensive, although Apple may distribute the price increase differently across the lineup instead of applying a standard hike.
The new Pro models are also expected to receive several design updates, including:
- More powerful 2nm Apple chipset
- Larger camera module
- Variable aperture main camera (rumoured)
- Slightly heavier design
- New colour options such as Dark Cherry, Light Blue and Silver
The iPhone 18 Pro Max could reportedly weigh more than 240 grams because of the larger battery and upgraded camera hardware.
As always, these iPhone Ultra leaks should be treated as early rumours until Apple officially unveils the devices. The company is widely expected to announce the iPhone Ultra and iPhone 18 Pro series during its annual September launch event, where pricing, specifications and availability will finally be confirmed.
