Mivi is all set to enter the Indian smartphone market with its first-ever handset. The company has officially confirmed the Mivi One 5G launch date in India, giving smartphone buyers another option in the affordable 5G segment. The new phone will launch on September 24 and will mark Mivi’s move beyond its popular audio products.
The Hyderabad-based company says it will manufacture the Mivi One 5G in India. Mivi is working with Qualcomm, Flipkart and Google for its first smartphone, although the company has not yet revealed all the details about these partnerships.
Mivi One 5G Launch Date And Camera Design
Mivi has confirmed that the Mivi One 5G launch will take place in India on September 24. The phone will be manufactured in Hyderabad as part of the company’s growing local manufacturing setup.
Mivi has also teased the rear camera design of the upcoming smartphone. The phone features two large circular camera rings placed diagonally on the back. A small pill shaped LED flash sits next to the camera setup. The company has also shown the phone in a green colour with rounded corners.

Mivi has not revealed the exact Snapdragon chipset, price or complete specifications of the phone yet. However, earlier leaks suggested that the Mivi One 5G could launch in the under Rs. 15,000 price segment. If that pricing remains accurate, the phone could compete with several popular budget 5G smartphones in India.
The company has also announced Google as a strategic partner for the Mivi One. Mivi says the smartphone will offer a clean software experience, which could mean fewer pre installed apps. However, it has not confirmed whether the phone will use a near stock Android interface.
The Mivi One 5G represents a major expansion for the company, which has spent the last decade developing products such as earbuds, headphones, speakers, soundbars and home theatre systems.
