Nothing Ear Stick true wireless (TWS) earbuds were released in India last week. The earbuds will go on sale starting on November 4, 2022. Moreover, now Nothing has started rolling out a new Nothing OS update for Nothing Phone 1. This comes days before the sale. Its update will seamlessly integrate its features and customisation options into the Device Details menu.
Previously, these features for the Nothing Ear (1) TWS earbuds were accessible via the Nothing Ear 1 app. Nothing has also rebranded the Nothing Ear 1 app to Nothing X on Google Play and App Store.
New Update In Nothing Phone 1
Nothing on Tuesday announced that a new Nothing OS update is being rolled out. That will integrate the features and customisation options into Device Details. They can be easily accessed through Quick Settings.
The update will be available to all Nothing Phone 1 users, who have Nothing OS version 1.1.4 or higher installed.
This update will bring the custom gesture control feature for the Nothing Ear Stick. It will even allow users to manually set the low, mid, and high-frequency levels in the equaliser.
It even provides options to toggle in-ear detection and low-lag mode. The users will also be able to check the battery levels of each earbud and the charging case. It even includes the ‘Find My Earbuds’ option in the update. The users will also be able to download future firmware updates from the Device Details menu.
Further, the Nothing Ear 1 app icon will be hidden for Nothing Phone 1 users after installing the update. The Nothing Ear 1 features will also be now accessible via Device Details.
Now, the Nothing Ear Stick or Nothing Ear 1 owners who do not use the Nothing Phone 1, shall have to download the Nothing X app from Google Play or App Store. If the users already have the Nothing Ear 1 app installed, they shall download the latest update to transform it into the Nothing X app.
The Nothing Ear Stick will go on sale in India on November 4 at a launch price of Rs. 8,499.
