OnePlus could be preparing a major display upgrade for its next flagship smartphone. The upcoming OnePlus 16 is tipped to feature an ultra-smooth 165Hz refresh rate along with extremely thin and symmetrical bezels. If the latest leaks are accurate, the new OnePlus display could offer a smoother experience not only in supported games but also during everyday scrolling, animations and app usage.

OnePlus 16 Could Get A New 165Hz Display
The latest leak claims that the OnePlus 16 will continue to use one of the company’s thinnest four sided bezels. The exact bezel measurements remain unknown, but earlier leaks suggested a 6.78-inch flat BOE Oriental Screen with symmetrical bezels.

OnePlus 16 Could Be A Gaming Powerhouse
OnePlus is also expected to improve the gaming experience. The company is reportedly working on upgrades to its Fengchi Gaming Core, high refresh rate technology and triple chip esports system.
Leaks suggest that the phone could feature a faster display controller, dedicated co processing hardware and gaming focused kernel optimisation. Some supported games could reportedly run at up to 185Hz.
