Oppo has finally decided to bring the K series smartphone to India. The teaser on the company’s social media handles confirms that the launch is scheduled for March 16. The live microsite confirms that the upcoming smartphone will be available for sale through Indian eCommerce giant Flipkart.
K series phones like the Oppo K9, OPPO K9 Pro 5G and OPPO K7 have been available in China for some time. They are priced in the sub-Rs. 20,000 range, and we feel that the Oppo will keep similar pricing when the phones are launched in India.

Oppo K Series Expected Specs
The official tweet by the company does not specify any features or model names that we can expect. However, it does end with the line ‘Get ready to live without limits on March 16’ to show that the phone might launch on March 16 in India. So this date may also be an announcement date instead of a launch date.

Despite no official notice, we speculate that the model being launched may be named Oppo K10. The company has been developing this model for some time, and the listing on the 3C certification website shows that the phone will support 80W fast charging. Furthermore, it has been confirmed that the phone will be powered by the newly announced Mediatek Dimensity 8000 SoC.

Though no details regarding its pricing have come to light, we expect it to be priced aggressively. In addition, we can expect Oppo to make a significant ripple in the Indian smartphone market by launching the new K series.
