Philips have launched their Philips PH1 budget smartphone in China. This is purely an entry-level device that offers banger specs for the price. This includes a big display, even a quad-core processor and a large battery as well. What more, the entry-level handset offers a dual rear camera setup as well. Philips PH1 Specifications

The latest offering by Philips comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD display. In addition, the display comes with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The display also sports a waterdrop notch design. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by a quad-core UniSoC Tiger T310 chipset.

Further, this chipset is paired with the PowerVR GT7200 GPU. The chipset and GPU are coupled with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. In terms of software, the Philips PH1 runs on Android OS, most likely Android 11.

For photos and videos, the Philips PH1 brings a dual rear camera setup to the table. The setup will include a 13-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 3-megapixel secondary sensor. At the front, the smartphone sports a 5-megapixel selfie shooter.

When it comes to battery, the entry-level handset packs a 4,700mAh battery. There is also a USB Type-C port for charging. However, the device does not offer fast charging. Neither can we find a fingerprint sensor on the handset. It does feature a 3.5mm headphone jack though.

In terms of connectivity, the device offers Dual-SIM support, 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS and more. On the dimensions front, the device measures 165.5 x 76.5 x 9.5mm and weighs about 194grams.

Philips PH1 Price in China

The Philips PH1 price in China starts at RMB 499 for the 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage variant. This converts to Rs. 5,910 in India. Further, the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant comes with a price tag of RMB 569. This is roughly Rs. 6,740 in the Indian currency. Lastly, the 4GB/128GB variant is priced at RMB 769 which is approximately Rs. 9,110. The entry-level device is available in the China Red, Graphite Grey, and Sky Blue color options.
