Poco F3 GT Back Panel To Come With New ‘Slipstream Design’

Poco has been planning on launching their F3 GT flagship for quite some time now. The smartphone has been bagging certifications and appearing in a ton of leaks as of late. This definitely does hint at an imminent launch of the device. Moreover, the company also took to their community forum to reveal a couple of things about the Poco F3 GT.

For starters, the smartphone will come with an Aerospace-grade aluminum alloy metal frame. This will take up the bevel game of the Poco F3 GT to a whole new level, according to the company. Now, the company has taken to their community forum yet again to reveal that the smartphone will come with a “radically new Slipstream Design philosophy.”

What this basically means is that the matte back panel of the device is made of a certain high quality glass on a metal frame. This particular glass is engineered specially to have a very low reflective index. Moreover, the company has revealed that the reflective index has been reduced from 8% to 1%. This makes the smartphone resistant to scratches and fingerprints of any sort.

Furthermore, Poco goes on to reveal how they have achieved this particular technology on the Poco F3 GT. “We have achieved this via an elaborate, multi-step process of chemical etching and spraying, that switches the glass surface from an overtly reflective surface to a diffused, matte-like anti-reflective surface that combats the age-old “fingerprint magnet” problem,” the post read.

Poco F3 GT Specifications (Expected)

The Poco F3 GT will come with a large 6.67-inch AMOLED display. Additionally, the display will come with a fast refresh rate of 120Hz refresh rate. On the processor front, the smartphone could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. Additionally, the octa-core flagship SoC could be paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The handset will also come with 5G connectivity, making it future proof.

For photos and videos, the Poco F3 GT will most likely come with a triple rear camera setup. The setup will include a 64-megapixel primary sensor alongside an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. Additionally, there will be a third 2-megapixel sensor for macro shots as well. On the front, the smartphone will most likely come with a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. Lastly, the smartphone will pack a big 5,056mAh battery alongside 67W fast charging support.
