Realme Narzo 50, Narzo 50 Pro India Launch Timeline Tipped

Realme is gearing up to launch two of their Narzo 50 series smartphones in India, as per a recent leak. The Realme Narzo series of smartphones are one of the most sought after budget smartphones in the country. Now, we will see two other devices, namely, the Realme Narzo 50 and Realme Narzo 50 Pro, getting added to the series.

91Mobiles, in collaboration with noted tipster Mukul Sharma, has revealed this piece of information. According to Sharma, the Realme Narzo 50 will be launching later on this month itself. However, he also adds that the smartphones could launch early November. He also states that he is not sure about whether the brand will be launching the Realme Narzo 50 or Narzo 50 Pro or both.

Sadly, nothing else is known about these two devices. However, we can expect them to be slightly upgraded versions of the Realme Narzo 50A which was launched last month. Here is a quick rundown of the Realme Narzo 50A specs for reference.

Realme Narzo 50A Specifications

Starting off with the display, the smartphone comes with a 6.5-inch HD+ display. In addition, the display comes with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. We can also see a peak brightness of 570 nits on the device. When it comes to software, the smartphone runs on Android 11 with the Realme UI 2.0 custom skin on top.

On the processor front, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. The octa-core chipset pairs up with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Further, the internal storage on the device is also expandable via a microSD card slot.

For photos and videos, the Realme Narzo 50A sports a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor alongside two 2-megapixel sensors for macro and portrait shots, respectively. At the front, the device comes with an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.

This particular Realme Narzo 50 series model packs a massive 6000mAh battery. In addition, the battery is coupled with 18W fast charging support as well. The budget smartphone also packs all the essential connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0 and a USB Type-C port for charging. There is also a rear mounted fingerprint scanner for security. Coming to the dimensions of the device, it measures 164.5×75.9×9.5mm and weighs 207 grams.
