Realme Narzo 50A Officially Teased; Confirmed to Feature This MediaTek Processor

Realme Narzo 50A is coming to India soon. Now, Francis Wong, Marketing Head, Realme Europe and India, confirmed the upcoming launch in a tweet. We can expect the series to include multiple variants, presumably Narzo 50A, Narzo 50, and Narzo 50 Pro. However, Wong already confirmed the Narzo 50A. But he did not say anything about whether or not there will be more phones in the series.

In addition to teasing the Narzo 50 series on Twitter, he also confirmed that the Realme Narzo 50A processor unit. According to Wong, it will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. The phone will ship with 1GHz GPU and HyperEngine enhancements for a seamless gaming experience. Now, this processor is not exactly new which is surprising as its predecessor also feature the same. Moreover, the chipset already has a successor available and ready to use in the market.

Realme Narzo 50A: What We Know So Far

Meanwhile, the Realme Narzo 50A appeared in press renders which revealed its key camera specifications. Further, it also made an appearance on the Indian BIS certification last month. This revealed that the smartphone’s official launch is right around the corner. Moreover, the Narzo 50A also received its NBTC certification. All of these certifications hinted at an imminent launch – now, the teaser confirms it.

As per the previous leaks and reports, we can expect to see the device launch in two distinct colour options. In addition, the smartphone will go official two RAM and storage options in India. The smartphone will be available in the Oxygen Green and Oxygen Blue colour options. Further, the device will come in the 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage option. There will also be a 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage option.

According to another report, the Realme Narzo 50A will come with a 12.5-megapixel primary rear camera with f/1.8 aperture and 4080×3072 resolution. Moreover, at the front, the device will come with an 8-megapixel sensor with a resolution of 3264×2448. Additionally, the device will reportedly come with one or two more camera sensors. However, details of these additional sensors are currently under wraps. This is all that we know for now when it comes to the Realme Narzo 50A specs.
