Red Magic 6S Pro Launched With Snapdragon 888+: Price, Specifications

Nubia has launched its latest gaming smartphone, the Red Magic 6S Pro, in China. It comes as the company’s latest top-of-the-line offering. It sits alongside the Red Magic 6 and the Red Magic 6R. The company also announced a new budget smartwatch dubbed as Red Magic Watch Vitality Edition and other accessories. Let’s take a look at this new smartphone offers:

Nubia Red Magic 6S Pro Price

The handset carries a starting price tag of CNY 3,999 (around ₹45,300). It will go on sale starting September 9, 2021. The phone comes in four storage models: 8GB + 128GB, 12GB + 128GB, 12GB + 256GB and 16GB + 256GB options. Whereas, the12GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB models are priced at CNY 4499 (roughly ₹50,900) and CNY 4899 (roughly ₹55,400). Meanwhile, the Red Magic 6S Pro 16GB + 256GB model is available at CNY 5399 (roughly ₹61,100).

RedMagic 6S Pro Specifications

The smartphone sports a 6.8-inch Full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) AMOLED screen with a 165Hz refresh rate. It also comes with a 720Hz touch sampling rate and DC Dimming technology. The Red Magic 6S Pro comes in three colours, including a transparent edition.

Furthermore, the phone features a conventional screen with narrow bezels at the top and bottom. It also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and an ICE 7.0 heat dissipation system with a dedicated fan.

Under the hood, the phone powers on Snapdragon 888+ 5G processor. It is also paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. Meanwhile, in terms of software, it runs on Android 11-based RedMagic OS 4.0.

In terms of optics, the Red Magic 6S Pro sports a triple rear camera setup comprising a 64-megapixel (f/1.8) primary sensor, an 8-megapixel (f/2.0) ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel (f/2.4) macro snapper. For selfies and video calling, there is an 8-megapixel (f/2.0) front-facing camera.

The phone packs a 4,500 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. For connectivity, the device offers support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, 5G, and a Type-C port.

For thermal management, the Red Magic 6S Pro comes with an ICE 7.0 cooling system, which includes the Phase Change Materials (PCM). It absorbs the heat and releases it gradually. The device also comes with a cooling fan, which spins at 20,000 RPM.
