- Updated: 22nd Nov 2021, 14:31 IST

Xiaomi is preparing for the launch of a new Redmi smartphone. The company has confirmed the launch of the Redmi Note 11T 5G in India. Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Note 11 series earlier this year in China. As confirmed by the company, the phone is launching in India on November 30, 2021. Prior to its launch, the company has already started teasing some of the key specs of the upcoming Redmi 5G smartphone. Meanwhile, previous rumours also suggest the India variant is a rebrand of the Redmi Note 11 5G.

According to the teaser post by Xiaomi India, MD Manu Kumar Jain further reveals that the device will offer better thermals, battery life and performance than the outgoing model. It also claims to be the faster 5G smartphone from Redmi with an AnTuTu score of over 3,55,000. We can expect the Redmi Note 11T 5G  to pack the same specs found on the Note 11 5G in China.

The Note 11T 5G will come with the same specs found on the Note 11 in China. It will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC. The phone will also sport a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. As already seen in China, the device comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Thus, we can anticipate something similar for the Indian market too.

At the front, the Redmi Note 11T 5G will feature a 6.6-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD. It supports a 90Hz refresh rate with a 240Hz touch sampling rate. The hole-punch cutout at the top of the screen houses a 16-megapixel front camera sensor.

Although the price tag is not yet revealed, Xiaomi can launch the device in India with a starting price of Rs. 15,999.
