Samsung Galaxy F02s and Galaxy F12 launched in India on Monday as new additions to the company’s F-series. Both of these devices sport a waterdrop-style display notch along with a tall display. Moreover, it comes with a big battery with 15W fast-charge support and also has a polycarbonate build. However, the difference between the two lies in its cameras, chipset and price point.

Furthermore, the Samsung Galaxy F02s appear as a rebadged Galaxy M02s. Whereas the Galaxy F12 is a rebranded version of the Galaxy M12. Let us look at the specs of both the devices in detail below:

Samsung Galaxy F12, F02s Pricing, Availability

Galaxy F12’s 4GB/64GB is available for a price of Rs 10,999 and 4GB/12GB for Rs 11,999. Whereas, F02s comes with a price tag of Rs 8,999 for 3GB/32GB variant and Rs 9,999 for 4GB/64GB.

However, the former is available in Diamond Black, Diamond Blue, and Diamond White color options. Whereas, Samsung Galaxy F02s are available in Celestial Black, Sea Green, and Sky Blue colors.

In terms of availability, the Galaxy F02s will be available for purchase starting 12 pm (noon) on April 9. On the other hand, Galaxy F12 will go on sale from 12 pm (noon) on April 12. They will be available through Flipkart, Samsung.com, and other key retailers in the country.

Furthermore, launch offers on the Samsung Galaxy F12 include an instant cashback of Rs. 1,000 that will be available on purchases made through an ICICI Bank credit card or EMI transactions.

Samsung Galaxy F02s Specifications

It features a 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) HD+ Infinity-V Display that brings 20:9 aspect ratio. In addition, it has up to 64GB of internal storage that supports expansion via microSD card (up to 1TB) through a dedicated slot.

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy F02s has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, along with up to 4GB of RAM.

In terms of optics, it sports a triple rear camera setup that has a 13-MP primary sensor, a 2-MP depth sensor, and a 2-MP sensor with a macro lens. Whereas for selfies and video chats, the Galaxy F02s has a 5-MP selfie camera sensor at the front.

Moreover, there is a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging support fuels the phone. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

It sports 6.5-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) Infinity-V Display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and up to 90Hz refresh rate. Moreover, just like Samsung Galaxy F02s –  it runs on Android 11-based One UI 3.1 Core.

The phone is powered by an octa-core Exynos 850 SoC, along with 4GB RAM. In addition, Samsung has offered up to 128GB of onboard storage.

Unlike Samsung Galaxy F02s, Galaxy F12 sports a quad rear camera setup that houses a 48-MP Samsung GM2 primary sensor with an f/2.0 lens, along with a 5-MP secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens, 2-MP macro shooter with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens. The phone also has an 8-MP selfie camera sensor at the front.

Galaxy F12 has a 6,000mAh battery whereas the Galaxy F02s have a smaller 5,000mAh battery. Both phones support 15W fast charging and with a compliant charger shipped in the box.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor onboard.
