Vodafone Idea, known as Vi, has come with some good news for all its users. This network operator has started to roll out 5G services in major cities across India. On 15th May, 2025, the Vi 5G network services started in Delhi-NCR. This news comes as a big relief for Vi SIM users as they can now enjoy high-speed calls and internet services. Vi 5G Network Launches in Delhi
Vi announced the great news of the rollout of 5G services in Delhi-NCR on the 14th of May, 2025. This step was long overdue, as India’s other prime network operators had already rolled out their 5G services.
But, as Vi has claimed to be ‘the later the better’ promoter, it claims that users will experience lightning fast internet speed, and up to 20-30 per cent better network connectivity than before.
Moreover, this step will help Vi sustain its market presence with Indian shifting towards 5G phones due to their high availability and reduced prices in the market.
Vi 5G Coming To More Cities By August
The Vi network will expand the 5G rollout services in more cities. Vi 5G will start working in cities like Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Chennai, and the eastern parts within the next few months. In Mumbai, and other parts of Maharashtra, around 50-70 per cent of users are already experiencing Vi 5G, and soon this number will become hundred.

Vi is constantly partnering with state authorities and trying to exceed other network operators for 5G services in major cities and especially in remote locations of India.
