- The phone has a comfortable design with IP68 waterproofing.
- The iPhone 11 has a decent LCD which can be quite immersive.
- iPhone 11 comes with an A13 Bionic chip which is power efficient and yet the fastest processor of this year.
- The iPhone 11 can keep chugging for a whole day with its improved battery.
- The phone has improved a lot in its camera department, arriving with the potential to click the fantastic day and night-time shots.
- iPhone 11 does not come with an AMOLED screen despite coming at a premium price.
The iPhone 11 defines itself as a phone belonging to the iPhone standard with its amazing A13 Bionic chipset and camera improvements. However, the lack of AMOLED screen at such a pricey model might seem disappointing. If you can increase the budget a little bit, you should get the iPhone 11 Pro instead of this phone. However, like an iPhone, the iPhone 11 fares well and can keep you happy.
The anticipated iPhone 11 arrives as a challenger to the Android models and seeks to become the new trend in the market. Priced at Rs. 64,900, the iPhone 11 keeps itself top-notch with all the top-notch hardware that it keeps under its hood.
The iPhone 11 has one of the fastest processors of 2019. It has also tackled the issue of poor low-light shots and arrived with a decent Night Mode. Overall, the iPhone 11 is a marvellous handset, though the lack of AMOLED screen is a disappointment. If you can strengthen your budget a little bit, then the iPhone 11 Pro can be a great phone to go for.

The iPhone 11 looks almost similar to the iPhone XR, excepting the dual-camera at the back. It has the same dimensions of 150.9×75.7×8.3mm and the same weight of 194g. It is of an aluminum and glass build – the glass is said to be the toughest there is as of now. It is less shiny than the iPhone XR. On the back, the dual camera has a bump which looks like a squarish island. It keeps the phone slightly raised when it is set down on its back panel and thus, makes the phone wobble. In general, the phone is quite compact and comfortable. It has gotten an IP68 rating for dustproof and waterproofing, which means that it will survive a depth of 2 meters for around 30 minutes.
iPhone 11 has the same screen as the iPhone XR, which is the 6.1-inch LCD which gives impressive colour accuracy and brightness. The viewing angles are quite good. However, you don’t get the vibrancy that OLED panels bring. The phone does support P3 wide colour gamut and Apple’s True Tone technology, both of which is based on the ambient light conditions. The phone record 625 nits on brightness which is quite decent. However, iPhone 11 Pro Max gets 800 nits which makes it more immersive.
iPhone 11 arrives with the new A13 Bionic chip which amps up the power by 20% and uses 30% less energy. It also has a 20% faster neural engine, and since most computing and functionality are moving towards machine learning, this is a significant development. iPhone 11 was able to handle everything that was thrown at it. It can run Asphalt 9 smoothly with plenty of details. The phone can also run multiple apps simultaneously without struggling. It got a multi-core score of 13,550 points in Geekbench 4, which is excellent and faster than the fastest Android phones currently in the market.
iPhone 11 brings a lot of improvement in its camera department. It arrives with a 12MP Ultra-wide camera and a 12MP improved Standard Wide angle camera. Apple generally comes up with great cameras, but recently, it has continued to struggle with low-light photography when compared to its competitors. iPhone 11 brings Apple’s new Night Mode, which can capture great low-light photos with accurate colours without any artificial brightening. There are no botches, and it can detect low-light conditions even better. Night Mode shots, however, take about 2-4 seconds to click. It does not have Live Photos or Flash. In general, the low-light photos of this phone stand out. When there is adequate light, as usual, the images of the iPhone 11 shines. It has just the right amount of detail, proper exposure, and zero noise, giving an accurate representation of the scene. The selfie camera has improved as well. A 12MP selfie camera makes the selfies look quite decent, and it also supports Portrait mode. The front camera can record 4K videos at 60fps and 120fps slow-motion – a feature called slofies.
Video recording is great. You can record 4K video at 60fps with both the Wide and Ultra-wide cameras. The image stabilization is quite good too.
iPhone 11 has a battery which appears marginally thicker than the iPhone XR. Plus, the A13 Bionic chipset is efficient and hence, can keep the phone chugging for long. It was able to last for 15 hours and 20 minutes while playing an HD video on loop. That is 2 hours more than what iPhone XR managed. The phone can last you for a whole day. While the phone has fast charging, it comes with a 5W charger which will charge the phone for 3 and a half hours to get it full. It also supports wireless charging.
iPhone 11 may not look very different from the iPhone XR, but it has made some significant improvement in two sectors: the camera and the performance. Android phones are only just reaching the performance level of iPhone XR, but now, the iPhone 11 has made it even more difficult with the new A13 Bionic chipset. The cameras have improved a lot too. Not only is the iPhone 11 carrying a dual camera module, but it has improved on the Night mode. Now, you get detailed and impressive low-light shots with the iPhone 11. It is an excellent buy if you are an iPhone fan. However, if you can increase the budget, you should go for the iPhone 11 Pro Max for improved OLED display and three cameras.
