Vivo is gearing up to add another 5G smartphone to its popular T5 lineup in India. The company has officially confirmed the Vivo T5 launch date, while teasers have also revealed several key details about its design and hardware. The upcoming phone will focus on performance, battery life and a slim design.
The Vivo T5 5G will launch in India on September 2, 2026. Vivo has also confirmed the phone’s Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset and shared impressive benchmark figures ahead of the launch.
Vivo T5 5G Launch Date And Key Specifications
The new Vivo smartphone will be available in Royal Bronze and Silver Green colour options. It will be sold through Flipkart, with the expected price reportedly falling between Rs 40,000 and Rs 50,000.

Vivo is also highlighting the phone’s AI capabilities. The company claims that the Dimensity 7500 Turbo can deliver around 10 tokens per second when running a 3 billion parameter AI model directly on the device.
Slim Design Meets A Large Battery
One of the biggest highlights of the Vivo T5 5G is its combination of a large battery and slim body. Despite packing a 7,050mAh battery, the smartphone measures only around 7.9mm in thickness.
The 1.5K curved AMOLED display also gets a 144Hz refresh rate, which should make scrolling, gaming and animations feel smoother. The screen can reportedly reach 2,000 nits of peak brightness.
The rear panel features Vivo’s Skyline design language, while teaser images reveal a dual camera setup and a hole punch cutout on the front.
Vivo has not yet revealed the RAM, storage, detailed camera specifications or charging speed. More information is expected before the Vivo T5 launch date on September 2. With its large battery, curved AMOLED screen and performance focused chipset, the T5 5G could become an interesting option in the upper mid range segment.
