Follow these simple steps to reserve your username:
- Step 1: Update WhatsApp to the latest version from Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Step 2: Wait for the in-app notification. The feature is rolling out in phases.
- Step 3: Open WhatsApp and go to Settings.
- Step 4: Click on Account.
- Step 5: Select Username.
- Step 6: Enter a username between 3 to 35 characters. WhatsApp will check availability.
- Step 7: Confirm and reserve your username.
You can change or disable your username anytime from the Account settings.
