With Xiaomi ever-growing reach in the market, the company has always managed to keep itself in innovations. Right now, the company is working on a 150W fast charging solution and chances are it could launch soon. However, the company is already offering a 120W fast charging solution to Redmi K50 Gaming Edition. The latter is one of the highest charging solutions available in the market. But it looks like the company is prepping to up its own game soon.
As we know, the company is providing this ultra-fast charging tech with its top-end flagships like the Xiaomi 12 Pro, Xiaomi 11i HyperCharge, and more. But it appears the company is trying to take fast charging to the next level. According to a new report, Xiaomi is developing a 150W charging solution. Here’s what we know so far:

Xiaomi Developing 150W Fast Charge Technology
This information comes straight from the tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo. According to the tipster, Xiaomi is currently testing a faster-charging technology that will push the benchmark in the charging solutions even further. The report informed that the company is currently in the process of testing 150W fast charging technology.
Although the report doesn’t tell us exactly how fast the 150W fast charging will be compared to the existing 120W solution. But we can assume its charging time might get reduced significantly with this new fast charge solution. For example, Xiaomi’s 120W HyperCharge solution claims to charge a 4,000mAh battery in around 13 minutes, we can expect the charging time to be under 10 minutes with the upcoming 150W tech.

He also adds that Xiaomi is almost ready for mass production of this 150W fast charging solution. It could likely feature in next-gen flagship smartphones like the Xiaomi 12 Ultra or the upcoming Xiaomi MIX lineup. There are chances the fast charging solution may come with the upcoming Xiaomi MIX 5 lineup. Unfortunately, that is all the information the tipster shares regarding this technology.
