Now, in September 2022, Cashify is all set for their B.Y.O.B, aka Bring Your Old Books Campaign, on Teacher’s Day. Teacher’s Day is celebrated in India on September 5, 2022, to mark the importance of teachers in society.
The Cashify Bring Your Old Books campaign propagates the idea of reusing instead of throwing your old books away. Books have the power to educate and sharpen young minds who will, later on, change the world.
Keeping this in mind, Cashify has come up with this very nationwide book donation drive. The Cashify B.Y.O.B campaign believes, “Because not every teacher holds a chalk. Some donate books.”
The Cashify Bring Your Old Books book donation drive will run till September 20, 2022. To join in on the movement, all you have to do is visit your nearest Cashify store. Once that is done, Cashify will donate the books to those needing them the most. These include Government Schools, NGOs and students.
Nakul Kumar, the Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Cashify states that, “After the overwhelming response our flag collection drive received, we felt motivated to take this to the next level. That’s when we decided to start the book donation campaign for Teacher’s Day. At Cashify, we’re strong believers of the saying “someone’s waste is someone else’s resource”, hence we plan to keep coming up with such donation campaigns to reinforce the idea and power of reuse.”
Furthermore, he adds that, “All the books that we receive through the campaign will be donated to government schools, NGOs and students in need.”
