The latest inclusion of the Vivo V20 series the SE variant aka Special Edition is set at a price of Rs.20,990 for the 8GB + 128GB model. Vivo V20 SE comes in only a single model and it is available in two unique colours – one is gravity black and the other is aquamarine green.
Vivo V20 SE doesn’t have any major leg up in the phone built, it comes with a typical glossy polycarbonate back panel with curved edges and 7.83 mm thickness. The phone seems to be on the lighter side with a weight of 171gm. On the front, it has a teardrop notch display with an under-display fingerprint scanner which the company claims to be really fast. The power button and the volume rockers are all on the right side of the phone leaving the left side to be plain.
Vivo V20 SE happens to be a 6.44-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display and with these super-thin bezels the phone ends up with a 90.12% screen to body ratio so, cracking that holy grail of 90 percent number. The display looks just like a flagship display for most of the time with a droplet notch design at the front.
Vivo V20 SE is packed with a powerful Snapdragon 665 2.0 GHz which works 11nm node technology which is kind of outdated, the octa-core processor is combined with a Funtouch OS skin over an older version of android i.e. android 10 and there is no word from the company regarding the upgrade in the android version to android 11.
Vivo V20 SE camera includes a 48-megapixel f/1.8 massive primary sensor then there is the 8-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The selfie camera also includes a giant 32- megapixel sensor with super night selfie mode which comes with an aura screen light effect. Both the front and back supports EIS for better stable video and photo quality.
Talking about what’s inside the phone, Vivo V20 SE has a 4,100 mAh battery which is a pretty solid mid-range size cell. The phone supports the 33W Vivo Flash Charge 2.0, which allows the smartphone to charge up to 60 per cent in just half an hour and charge it fully in just an hour.
Vivo V20 SE seems to be just another mid-range with not something out of the box or some mind-boggling feature which is the case seen most of the time with the V series in the past. It has a commendable design and comes with a decent pretty good camera hardware, overall the smartphone could be a great choice for the users who wants to have a phone with decent battery life great camera, and doesn’t have any issues in operating the older version of Android.
