Speaking of the budget-range category, Vivo has got a vast number of smartphones under its name and instead of concentration on a particular section, Vivo has always brought a whole new package with solid features. This time, Vivo has launched the Vivo Y30 series with a couple of smartphones and the one with an affordable price tag is Vivo Y30G. Vivo has launched this device a couple of days before and offers a huge battery along with huge RAM and internal storage in this device. So let’s check if Vivo has this time brought an overall excellent package or there is anything missing in Vivo Y30G.

    Vivo Y30G Price in India

Vivo has launched Vivo Y30G in a single variant, featuring 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. You can buy this smartphone in different colour options including Aqua Blue, Dawn Black White and Obsidian Black. Vivo Y30G price for this lone variant according to the official site of Vivo is 1499.00 Yuan, which means Vivo Y30G is going to be available in India at Rs.16,743.

The design of Vivo Y30G is quite simple with a gradient colour back and an interestingly placed dual-camera setup within a rectangular shaped module. On the front, there is an IPS panel with a thick chin and a V-shaped notch at the top for housing the selfie camera.

The volume and power buttons are placed on the right side of the device and the fingerprint sensor has been integrated into the power button. The loudspeaker, the USB Type-C port, and the primary microphone along with a 3.5mm headphone jack, are placed on the bottom side.

Vivo Y30G measures 164.41mm in length, 76.32mm in width and 8.41mm in thickness and the smartphone weighs 191.4 grams.

There is a 6.51-inch display featuring a resolution of 720pixels and an aspect ratio of 20:9 along with an 89.00% screen-to-body ratio. Also, the display supports 16.7 million colours and a contrast ratio of 1500:1.

Vivo Y30G features a MediaTek P65 processor under the hood. The chipset is allied with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage for managing smooth multi-tasking and storing huge data. There is a separate micro SD card slot for expanding the internal storage up to 1TB. For running the device, there is Android 11 overlaid with OriginOS 1.0. As for the connectivity, Vivo Y30G supports 4G networks and there is no 5G.

Vivo has offered a dual camera setup with the Vivo Y30G smartphone. There is a 13MP primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP depth-of-field camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera supports camera mode, portrait mode, video mode, dynamic photo, slow motion, time-lapse photography and professional mode. Also, you can shoot videos up to 1080 pixels with the rear camera setup. As for the selfies, there is an 8MP camera with an f/1.8 aperture, under the V-shaped notch on the front side.

Vivo Y30G possesses a huge 5000 mAh battery for ensuring full day usage. The device is included with 18W dual-engine flash charging, capable of refilling the battery up to 68% in just 60 minutes. According to the company, the 5000 mAh battery along with AI power-saving technology is sufficient enough to provide 14.96 hours of online HD movie streaming and 10.84 hours of resource-intensive games. For connecting the charger there is a Type-C charging port available in the device.

Vivo Y30G is an overpriced device with a normal refresh rate display, meagre camera setup, average processor and old school design. The only specs favouring this device include 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging. The final verdict is that you should go with some other device.
