Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite sports a glass back which gives off a nice and shiny look which make this premium to look at. On the back, we have a quad-camera setup, the LED flash with MI branding on the bottom left while on the front we have a glass-based screen with a teardrop-shaped notch for the front camera. The volume buttons and the power button, are placed on the right side of the device. On the bottom of the device, we have the USB Type-C port, the microphone, and the loudspeaker while we have the headphone jack and the IR blaster on the top of the device.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite is available in Aurora Blue, Cosmic Gray, and Dream White colours and the device is 7.9mm thick and weighs in at about 192g.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite sports a 6.57-inch AMOLED TrueColor display with a resolution of 2400 by 1080. The aspect ratio of this display is at 20:9 and the screen to body ratio is at 85.1% with a pixel density of 401ppi. The display supports HDR10+ which makes the Mi 10 Lite perfect for uses like content consumption. There is a teardrop-shaped notch to house the front camera within the screen. The screen is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and has the TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G octa-core processor. With a Kyro 475 structure and built on the 7nm process, the Snapdragon 765G clocks up to 2.4GHz max speed. The storage options include 64GB, 128GB or 256GB of storage which may be paired up with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM.
The Mi 10 Lite runs on Android 10 with Xiaomi’s MIUI 12 skin on top of it which is cleaner than before.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite has a quad-camera setup on the back and a single camera at front of the device. The quad-camera setup includes a 48MP main wide sensor with PDAF, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, a 2MP sensor for macro effect, and a 2MP sensor for depth effect. The camera has HDR enabled and uses an LED flash for lighting up the shots. The video output via the rear camera is rated at 4k at 30fps with gyro-EIS. The front camera, on the other hand, includes a single 16MP wide sensor with video output rated at 1080p at 30fps.
Mi 10 Lite runs on a big 4160 mAh Li-Po battery with the capability of fast charging up to 20W with the power brick provided in the box. The battery is capable enough to last a day on a full charge. The fast charging will be fast enough considering the capacity of the battery.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite has all it takes for a smartphone to be considered one of the best mid-range devices for the year 2020. It has a great processor, a really nice set of cameras and the cherry on top is the 5G capability offered by the device. This phone is a great competition for the OnePlus Nord as it is cheaper than the latter device by a lot and also offers a lot more for the price.
