    Design And Display

    Build Quality

The Apple iPhone 18 Pro uses Ceramic Shield 2 on the front and an aluminium frame. It carries an IP68 rating for depths up to 6 metres. Apple offers it in Black, Silver, Glacier and a new Burgundy shade.

On the other hand, the Google Pixel 11 Pro uses Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on both sides with an aluminium frame. It is also IP68 rated, but for depths up to 1.5 metres. Google keeps its signature camera bar, now in a slimmer form.

The iPhone relies on Face ID. The Pixel gives you an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor under the screen. If you like unlocking your phone with a thumb while it lies on a desk, the Pixel is handier.

    Display

In the Apple iPhone 18 Pro vs Google Pixel 11 Pro display comparison, specs favour Google. The Pixel’s panel is sharper at 1280 x 2856 (497ppi). It also peaks at 3,600 nits, against 3,000 nits on the iPhone.

That said, the two brands test brightness differently. So do not treat these numbers as a direct side-by-side result. Apple’s panel adds Dolby Vision and an anti-reflective coating, which helps outdoors.

Verdict: The Pixel 11 Pro has the sharper and brighter display on paper, making it a great choice for watching videos and using the phone outdoors. However, the iPhone 18 Pro offers strong front protection and Dolby Vision support.

    Performance

The iPhone 18 Pro runs Apple’s new A20 Pro chip. It is built on a 2nm process and pairs with 12GB RAM. Apple says the new 7-core GPU is up to 40% faster than the A19 Pro. A redesigned vapour chamber also improves sustained performance by up to 40%, as per Apple.

The Pixel 11 Pro runs the Tensor G6 on a 3nm process. Google built this chip for AI and camera processing, not for benchmark wins. Early reviews show it is faster than last year’s chip, but it still trails rival flagships in raw power.

Verdict: The iPhone 18 Pro makes more sense if performance is your priority. The A20 Pro offers more raw power and better sustained performance, which matters for gaming, video editing and other demanding tasks. For everyday use, both are fast, but power users should consider the iPhone 18 Pro.

    Camera

The camera is where the Apple iPhone 18 Pro vs Google Pixel 11 Pro comparison gets most interesting. Both phones are excellent. But they chase different goals.

    Rear Cameras

The iPhone 18 Pro uses three 48MP cameras. They include a main, ultrawide, and 4x periscope telephoto. The big upgrade is a variable aperture on the main camera. It can switch between f/1.48, f/1.8, f/2.8 and f/4.0. This gives you real control over depth of field and light. You also get manual controls for shutter speed and white balance.

The Pixel 11 Pro uses a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide and a 48MP 5x periscope telephoto. Google’s computational photography does the heavy lifting. Features like Best Take, Zoom Enhance, Ultra HDR and Magic Capture make point-and-shoot photos look great with no effort.

    Zoom

The Pixel wins zoom clearly. Its 5x telephoto goes up to 120x Pro Zoom with AI help. Reviewers found its long-range shots surprisingly usable. The iPhone offers 4x optical, 8x optical-quality and up to 40x digital zoom.

    Video

Apple leads here. The iPhone 18 Pro records 4K Dolby Vision at up to 120fps. It supports ProRes RAW, Apple Log 2, external recording and genlock. These are serious tools for creators and filmmakers. The Pixel 11 Pro offers 8K at 30fps and 4K at 60fps. That is more than enough for Reels and YouTube Shorts.

    Selfie Camera

The Pixel’s 42MP front camera beats the iPhone’s 18MP sensor on paper. It also records 4K at 60fps. Group selfies and video calls look sharper on the Pixel.

Verdict: Both phones offer capable camera systems, but their strengths are different. The Pixel 11 Pro makes more sense for point-and-shoot photography, long-range zoom and selfies. The iPhone 18 Pro is better suited to users who want advanced video recording and manual camera controls.

    Battery And Charging

The Pixel 11 Pro packs a bigger 4,850mAh battery. Google claims over 30 hours of use. The Indian iPhone 18 Pro carries a 4,288mAh cell. Apple’s efficient chip often closes the gap, but full real-world battery tests for the iPhone are still coming in.

Charging tells a different story. The iPhone 18 Pro reaches 50% in about 15 minutes with a compatible adapter. The Pixel 11 Pro takes about 30 minutes to reach 55%. So the iPhone tops up faster.

Both support 25W wireless charging. The iPhone uses MagSafe and Qi2. The Pixel supports Qi2.2 and adds bypass charging, which powers the phone directly while gaming. This keeps heat low and protects battery health.

Verdict: The Pixel 11 Pro has the larger battery and is the better choice if long battery life is your priority. The iPhone 18 Pro, however, charges to 50% much faster.

    Software And AI Features

The iPhone 18 Pro runs iOS 27. Its headline feature is the new Siri AI, now in beta. It can read your messages, emails, photos and screen content to answer questions and take actions. However, availability depends on language and region.

The Pixel 11 Pro runs Android 17 with Gemini built in. You get tools like Rambler, which cleans up messy speech as it types, and Magic Capture, which pulls the best still from a short clip. Circle to Search is there too. Most of these features already work in India today.

Google also promises 7 years of OS updates. Apple does not publish a fixed number, but iPhones usually get long support too.

Verdict: The Pixel 11 Pro makes more sense if AI is an important part of your daily smartphone experience. Its Gemini-powered features are available now, while some of Apple’s newer Siri AI capabilities are still in beta and depend on availability. For accessible AI features today, the Pixel 11 Pro is the more practical choice.
