Here’s how to enter safe mode on a Samsung device when it’s powered on:

  1. Press and hold the power button until the power menu opens.
  2. Next, you will see the “Power off”, “Restart”, and “Emergency Mode” options.
  3. Press and hold the Power off icon to see the Safe mode option.
  4. Tap on it to restart your phone in Safe mode.

Enter safe mode on a Samsung device when it’s powered off:

  1. Press and hold the power button to turn on the device.
  2. When you see the Samsung logo on the screen, press and hold the volume down key.
  3. Keep holding the key until your phone boots into Safe mode.

How To Turn Off Safe Mode on Samsung?

After you are done troubleshooting the issue, you need to disable safe mode and return your device back to normal. Here’s how to do so:

  1. Press and hold the power button until the power menu opens.
  2. Next, tap on Restart, then tap again to confirm.
  3. Swipe down the Notification panel from the top. There, click on “Safe mode is on” and finally tap on “Turn off” to confirm.
  4. Then, press and hold the power button and volume down button to force restart the device.
