It was introduced to the Apple Plus model on the iPhone 6 series in 2014. Three years later, the iPhone Plus model was discontinued after the Apple iPhone 8 Plus release in 2017. Since then, a Mini model has been available for at least two years, along with a bare iPhone, a Pro, and a Pro Max in the current iPhone series.
The 6.7-inch non-Pro iPhone 14 model will be called the Apple iPhone 14 Plus, according to 9to5Mac, despite the leak. The newspaper also thinks the iPhone 14 Plus will be among the “most popular iPhone models” in the upcoming years. That is considering the popularity of the iPhone 6 Plus.
