Apple’s next upcoming launch of its flagship series iPhone 14 series could happen sometime in 2022. However, nothing has come out officially yet. But rumours surrounding the series have already surfaced. Especially leaks and rumours around the iPhone 14 Pro models are surfacing a lot lately. Recently, the Pro models are rumoured to come with two hole-punch cutouts instead of a notch. Now, a new leak hints at Pro models RAM storage. Let us look into the leak in detail:

New iPhone 14 Pro Models Might Get 8GB RAM Options
The company’s high-end smartphones might feature the same amount of RAM as Samsung’s Galaxy S22 series. This could also happen due to the fact that many mid-range smartphones also offer higher RAM storage these days. As of now, Apple currently offers 6GB of RAM. But things could change in the forthcoming launches if rumours are true. Although no official confirmation is out, leaks hint towards a higher RAM in iPhone 14 series.

According to a post by user ‘yeux1122‘ on the Naver blog (in Korean), the Cupertino company’s rumoured iPhone 14 Pro models will come with 8GB of RAM. This is going to be higher than its predecessor the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. In addition, it will be higher even to the iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max that were launched in 2020. The components are already confirmed with companies involved, according to the post, which cites a domestic supply chain source.
Other Rumours on iPhone 14 series
Separately, Apple might be planning a redesign to the exterior of the 2022 iPhone range. It’s also predicted that Apple will reduce the size of the notch, for instance, and perhaps switch to a “hole-punch” camera system. It’s also claimed that the “iPhone 14” range will get a 48-megapixel camera sensor, and possibly switch to an eSIM-only system.

However, we must also remember that this is not the first time we have heard that the iPhone 14 Pro models will feature 8GB RAM. Back in December 2021, analyst Jeff Pu also suggested that Apple was planning on delivering a new iPhone model with 8GB RAM and a 48-megapixel camera.
