MediaTek is gearing up to introduce its next flagship smartphone chipset, and the latest benchmark results suggest it could deliver a major performance boost. The Dimensity 9600 Pro leaks have now revealed fresh Geekbench results from the upcoming Vivo X500 Pro Max, showing a significant jump in CPU performance compared with an earlier test.
The Dimensity 9600 Pro is expected to arrive later this month and will compete with upcoming flagship processors from Apple and Qualcomm. Vivo and Oppo are also expected to use the new MediaTek chipset in their premium smartphones.
Dimensity 9600 Pro Leaks Show Big Geekbench Improvement
The Dimensity 9600 Pro has appeared on Geekbench again with the model number MT6995. This time, the Vivo X500 Pro Max achieved a single core score of 4,137 and a multi core score of 12,751.

These numbers are considerably higher than the earlier Geekbench results, where the same chipset scored 2,653 in single core and 7,516 in multi core testing. Based on the latest figures, the new processor appears to offer around a 30 percent CPU performance improvement over the Dimensity 9500.
However, benchmark results can vary depending on software, cooling and testing conditions. So, the latest scores should be treated as an early indication rather than final performance figures.

The latest Dimensity 9600 Pro leaks showing the Geekbench listing also reveals the chipset's core configuration. The setup remains similar to what appeared in the earlier benchmark listing.
