  • Samsung’s next-generation Samsung Galaxy S27 chipset is already making headlines months before its expected launch. A new Geekbench listing has revealed early details about the upcoming Exynos 2700 processor, giving a first look at what could power the Galaxy S27 series in 2027.

    Samsung only recently introduced the Exynos 2600 with the Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup, but early benchmark leaks suggest the company is moving quickly with its next upgrade. While these early results do not reflect final performance, they offer useful insight into Samsung’s evolving chip design strategy.

    Galaxy S27 series will sport Exynos 2700 SoC

    The Exynos 2700, believed to be the Galaxy S27 chipset, has appeared on Geekbench under the model number S5E9975. The listing confirms a major shift in CPU architecture compared to its predecessor.

    Instead of the usual three-cluster design, Samsung appears to be testing a new four-cluster CPU layout. This could improve efficiency and performance balance across different workloads.

    • 10-core CPU configuration
    • 1 core at 2.30GHz
    • 4 cores at 2.40GHz
    • 1 core at 2.78GHz
    • 4 cores at 2.88GHz

    In Geekbench 6 tests, the chipset scored:

    • Single-core: 2,603
    • Multi-core: 10,350

    The multi-core score is close to what the current Exynos 2600 delivers, even though the new chip has not yet reached higher clock speeds.

    Early GPU And Performance Insights

    On the graphics side, the Galaxy S27 chipset features an Xclipse 970 GPU. Early OpenCL testing shows promising results, hinting at solid graphics performance for gaming and heavy apps.
