Google Launches The Doppl App: Lets You Try Outfits Before Buying

Google is amplifying its AI capabilities with a cutting-edge app that lets users virtually try on their favorite clothes before making a purchase. Named “Doppl,” this experimental app is part of Google Labs, the company’s innovation hub where new features are tested before being integrated into more widely used apps. Doppl enhances the Google Shopping features introduced in May, offering a more streamlined experience through a dedicated application and additional new features. How Does The Google Doppl App Work?

The Doppl app by Google allows users to upload photos or screenshots of outfits they wish to try on and instantly view how they would look. According to Google, the app uses its try-on feature to create a digital, animated version of the user, offering a preview of the new outfit.

In an interesting twist, Google also lets users explore these outfits through an AI-generated video, enhancing the realism of the feature. However, Google does note that since Doppl is still in its early stages. How To Download The App?

Doppl is now available for download from both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Once users open the app, they will be asked to sign in with their Google account and upload a photo of the outfit they wish to try on, along with a full-body picture of themselves.
