    Infinix 160W Adapter: What More?

Infinix has become quite a well-known brand in Asia and Europe. The brand is known to provide budget smartphones that prove to be value-for-money purchases. Moreover, the company has recently launched their Infinix Note 10 and Note 10 Pro in India. Both these smartphones are budget offerings that come with great specs for the price.

However, these devices come with a maximum of 18W fast charging support. So, it is indeed quite the surprise to see an Infinix adapter with a whopping 160W fast charging support.

Infinix 160W Adapter: What More?

XDA-Developers posted a picture of this particular adapter as well. The picture took the internet by storm. It basically shows an adapter with Infinix branding showcasing 160W ultra fast charging support. This could suggest that Infinix is probably working towards ultra-fast charging speeds. However, most of the high-end smartphones today, like the Mi 11 Ultra come with 67W fast charging support. There are exceptional smartphones that feature 120W fast charging support too. However, nothing close to 160W has come out yet.

Also, it cannot be concretely concluded that the adapter is for a smartphone. Infinix has stuck to releasing devices that come with 18W fast charging support. So, it would be very shocking for them to suddenly launch a device with 160W ultra-fast charging support. However, it is a possibility that cannot be completely neglected. The realm of technology after all is pretty unpredictable.

Moreover, it is possible that the adapter belongs to a laptop or a tablet by the brand. Infinix does make laptops and tablets. However, even the laptops and tablets are low-end products and do not require that much of power.

It is indeed an exciting mystery to see what this charger will possibly charge. Moreover, if Infinix does pull it off, it will be an industry first. On the other hand, Xiaomi has revealed its 200W fast charging technology. This technology can charge a 4000mAh battery-based smartphone in 8 minutes. Going by that, a 160W charger can charge a similar phone in 15 minutes. Now, that is pretty impressive too. However, nothing can be confirmed right now. Hopefully, Infinix will reveal its plans for this adapter soon.
