Apple’s highly anticipated iPhone event is just around the corner, where the spotlight will be on the unveiling of the Apple iPhone 17 lineup. Alongside the new devices, Apple is also expected to announce the official release date for iOS 26. In the meantime, you can get an early look at the software by downloading the newly released iOS 26 public beta 4 update, or developer beta 7, if you’re registered as a developer. So, read ahead to know more about this update.
iOS26 Public Beta 4 Update Details
Apple released the latest round of beta software, including iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS 26. The fourth of the public beta of iOS 26 arrived on Monday, shortly after the third version was rolled out last week.

This new beta addresses several bugs and aligns closely with the updates introduced in iOS 26 developer beta 7. Apple usually rolls out major software updates — including iOS, watchOS, macOS, and iPadOS — in September. Until then, public betas like this one offer early adopters and curious users a chance to explore upcoming features and provide feedback as Apple continues refining the final release.
What To Expect From This Update And Device List?
iOS 26 represents Apple’s boldest redesign in years. The whole interface now features a stunning Liquid Glass effect—a translucent, dynamic layer that shifts as you scroll. Enhanced Apple Intelligence brings new capabilities like real-time call translation and an upgraded Visual Intelligence search. Additional perks include call screening and personalized text message threads. Keep in mind, iOS 26 public beta requires at least an A13 Bionic chip, so it’s available only on iPhone 11 and newer models. Meanwhile, the advanced Apple Intelligence features remain exclusive to the iPhone 16 lineup and the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max.
And don’t forget, this is still beta software, so expect some bumps along the way.
