Strategies That Apple Might Adopt For iPhone 15 Lineup:

A recent post by a South Korean blog Naver reveals that Apple is seriously thinking about the sales performance of the iPhone 14 Plus. And is considering new strategies for the upcoming iPhone 15 lineup. This is because the recently launched iPhone 14 series, and the new iPhone 14 Plus in particular, didn’t perform well in the market as per the brand’s expectations. Thus according to a new report, the company is now re-evaluating strategies for 2023.

The brand introduced the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro as smaller models. While the iPhone 14 Plus and iPhone 14 Pro Max were launched with larger screens. However, the market trends reflected sluggish demand for the non-pro models. Thus the company is looking to adopt new marketing strategies for the release of the next iPhone series. Apple’s 2023 iPhone lineup includes the standard iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. Additionally, the non-pro models will most likely feature the A16 Bionic chip. In contrast, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will most likely feature Apple’s next-generation A17 Bionic chip.

Strategies That Apple Might Adopt For iPhone 15 Lineup:

A report from tipster Yeux1122 highlights three strategies that the company might adopt for the upcoming lineup. Firstly, the company may likely reduce price differences between the non-Pro and Pro models. Analyst Ross Young highlights that the base iPhone 15 version will come with the Dynamic Island that was previously limited to the Pro variants.

The brand is also considering changing its pricing strategy for the upcoming lineup. It could reduce the price of the iPhone 15 Plus variant as the iPhone 14 Plus has not performed well in the market. The iPhone 14 Plus price in India for the 6.7-inch phone starts at Rs. 89,900. In contrast, the price of the iPhone 14 Pro Max starts at Rs. 1,39,900.

Moreover, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo tweeted that the company would increase differences between the Pro and non-Pro models. As well as the Pro and the Max variant. He further reveals that the company may do so as it wants to increase the average selling price (ASP) of the iPhone units. Additionally, the blog reveals that differences in material and camera parts between the pro model and the max model will be definitive. This confirms the past leak, that suggested a titanium chassis and periscope zoom camera on the iPhone 15 Pro Max model. A tip further reveals that the high-end models of the iPhone 15 lineup will come with solid-state buttons. Instead of physical volume and power buttons.
