  • Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 8.5 update for its Galaxy M series phones. Many users are now checking if their phone is included in the latest update list. This update brings a fresh design, smarter tools, and improved battery performance. The rollout began with the Samsung Galaxy M56 and is now reaching the Samsung Galaxy M55 and Samsung Galaxy M54 models.

    Samsung is releasing the update in stages for different models.

    • Galaxy M56 received the update first on May 26 in India
    • Galaxy M55 started getting the update on May 28 in India
    • Galaxy M54 began receiving the update on June 1 in Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, and New Zealand
    • Update size is around 2300MB with the latest May 2026 security patch

    • Improved Power Saving mode for longer battery life
    • New Camera filters for stylish film-like photos
    • Smarter Bixby with natural conversation support

    If you own a Galaxy M56, M55, or M54, go to Settings > Software update and check for the One UI 8.5 update now. More M-series models are expected to get this update soon.
