The Lenovo-owned Motorola Moto G52 was unveiled in Europe on Tuesday as the company’s newest smartphone. The new Moto G-series phone’s standout features are dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos compatibility and a 50-megapixel primary camera. It also has a hole-punch display and a 90Hz refresh rate.

The Snapdragon 680 SoC in the Moto G52 pairs with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. In addition, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the side of the phone, and the battery is likely to last 37.9 hours. In the wake of the Moto G51’s launch last year, the Moto G52 is here.

Pricing and Availability

A 4GB + 128GB version of the Moto G52 are to cost at EUR 249 (about Rs. 20,600). It is available in two colours: Charcoal Grey and Porcelain White. It will be possible to pre-order the new Motorola smartphone in several European regions later this month.

“The next weeks” is when Motorola says the smartphone will be on sale in India and Latin America.

Android v12.1 Pie powers the dual-SIM (Nano) Moto G52. Display resolution is Full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) and refresh rate is 90Hz. The screen-to-body ratio is 87.70 per cent, and the aspect ratio is 20:9. The pixel density is 402 PPI. The smartphone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor paired with an Adreno 610 GPU and 4GB of RAM.

A single LED flash and a triple camera system are there in the lenses. The camera unit’s heart is a primary sensor of 50-megapixels and two depth sensors of 8 and 2-megapixel. The smartphone’s pre-installed camera modes include night vision, portrait mode, live photo, and quad pixel technology. In addition, the smartphone has a 16-megapixel front camera with an f/2.45 aperture for taking selfies and video chats.

The inbuilt storage of the Moto G52 may get increased with a microSD card to a maximum of 1TB. Bluetooth v5, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS (with A-GPS), LTEPP (with SUPL), Galileo (with SUPL), 3.5mm headphone connector and USB Type-C port are all available on the phone. In addition, an accelerometer, SAR sensor and distance sensor aboard the vehicle are there with several sensors. An additional fingerprint sensor is also there in this model.

The smartphone comes pre-installed with a 30W TurboPower Charging adapter for the first time. According to the manufacturer, a single battery charge would provide up to 37.9 hours of playing time.

With an IP52 certification, the phone is dust and water-resistant as well. In addition, dual microphones and a sound system with Dolby Atmos compatibility are included in the audio system’s audio setup. The Moto G52 is a 169-gram smartphone with dimensions of 160.98×74.46×7.99mm.
