Motorola is working on the launch of several smartphones in the upcoming months. According to a new leak, Motorola is planning to expand its portfolio on G-series. Moreover, tipster Evan Blass claims that there are three new smartphones in the works. The first one, codename Kyoto, is the Motorola Edge 20 Lite, whereas, the second and third are codename Lisbon (Moto G60S) Saipan (Moto G50 5G).
Along with these codenames, the specifications of the devices have also surfaced online. Now, in a recent development, leakster Evan Blass revealed that Kyto will launch as the Motorola Edge 20 Lite. Additionally, Blass also mentions that the smartphones codename Lisbon and Saipan will launch as the G60S and G50 5G.
Motorola Edge Kyto Will Launch as The Moto Edge 20 Lite
As of now, there is not much information available on all of these smartphones. Although Motorola Edge 20 Lite is completely a mystery considering how there is no Moto Edge 20 to speak of. However, chances are it can be a rebrand of an existing Motorola smartphone. Just like many of the other brands are just bringing more products by just rebranding their exisiting phones. On the other hand, Moto G60s could be a watered-down version of the Moto G60. It offers some flagship-grade specifications, such as a 108MP camera and 120Hz screen. Speculations of it being a cheaper version of it will help fans gravitate towards it. Furthermore, the Moto G60S would also strengthen the company’s position in India’s hypercompetitive Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000 smartphone market.

Whereas, Moto G50 launched in March with the codename Ibiza. However, it will be interesting to see how it will differ with the G50 5G with codename Saipan. o recap, the Moto G50 comes with a 6.5-inch IPS LCD 720p display that has a 90Hz refresh rate.
