Nokia adds another smartphone to its X-series lineup, Nokia X100. However, this particular smartphone is for the US market only. It is an Android smartphone available exclusively through T-Mobile and Metro in the United States. Moreover, this new device will strengthen the carrier’s 5G offerings. Nokia X100 Design and Specifications
HMD Global’s latest phone has a matte-finish plastic rear with a tiny bulge near the camera module. It has a Nokia emblem in the middle, which distinguishes it from competitors of other brands. In terms of specifications, Nokia X100 comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the front. It sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The display has a 20:9 aspect ratio.
Under the hood, the phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 5G SoC with 6GB of RAM. Users can expand the storage using a microSD card on top of the 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. The Nokia X100 has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It runs Android 11 out of the box.
Furthermore, Nokia X100 comes with a quad-camera setup inside the circular module. It has a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel ultrawide sensor and two 2-megapixel sensors for depth and macro. For selfies and video calls, there is a 16-megapixel front camera sensor.
Connectivity options include 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/, USB Type-C, NFC, etc. The phone packs a 4,500 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
