Oppo Reno 6 Series Launched with 65W Fast Charging: Price, Specs
Oppo Reno 6 series have launched in the Chinese market just a few days ago. It comes as a successor to the Reno 5 series last year. Moreover, this lineup will include – a vanilla variant Reno6, Reno6 Pro, and a Reno 6Pro+. In addition, the phones come with 65W fast charging support and feature a hole-punch display. The difference between the variant comes in highlight with its processor.
OPPO Reno 6 Series Pricing
Its’ price in China starts from CNY 2,799 (approx Rs 31,800) for the base variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Whereas, the Reno 6 Pro 8GB/128GB model is priced at CNY 3,499 (approx Rs 39,800). On the other hand, the Reno 6 Pro+ 8GB/128GB costs CNY 3,999 (approx Rs 45,500).
However, there is no official word yet on the OPPO Reno 6 series India launch.
Reno 6 Specifications
It sports a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a punch-hole camera and 90Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the phone runs on Android 11-based ColorOS 11 custom skin on top
Under the hood, the vanilla variant is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC in the Oppo Reno 6 series. In addition, it comes along with up to 12GB of RAM. It also comes with up to 256GB of internal storage that should be further expandable via a microSD card slot.
In terms of optics, it sports triple cameras at the back with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. It has a 32MP snapper on the front for selfies and video chats and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
Furthermore, it packs a 4,300mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support. Connectivity features include 5G/4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and USB Type-C port for charging and data transfer.
Oppo Reno 6 Pro and Pro+ Series Specs
Both of these devices in the Pro lineup feature a 6.55-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 2,400 X 1,080 pixels resolution. Moreover, they will also have a punch-hole cutout and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top. Just like before, it runs on Android 11-based ColorOS skin on top
Under the hood, Oppo Reno 6 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 SoC. Whereas, the Reno 6 Pro+ gets the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chipset in the series. Both phones come with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.
In terms of optics, OPPO Reno 6 Pro features a triple camera system that includes a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2mP macro lens. Wheres, in the series – Reno 6 Pro+ has a quad-camera setup that includes a 50MP Sony IMX766 sensor, 16MP wide-angle lens, 2MP macro lens, and 13MP telephoto lens. Both phones feature a 32MP camera for selfies.
