Vivo has officially introduced its latest software update, and OriginOS 7 for iQOO and Vivo phones is now set to reach a wide range of devices. Based on Android 17, the new software brings a refreshed interface, smoother animations, improved multitasking and new AI features.
The rollout will happen in stages, with newer flagship smartphones receiving the update first. Vivo has also started the OriginOS 7 preview programme in markets including India, with the Vivo X300 Pro and iQOO 15 among the first devices getting early access.
OriginOS 7 Features And Supported Phones
OriginOS 7 brings several changes to the software experience. Vivo has introduced a glass like interface, Dynamic Glow effects and smoother system animations. The update also adds Origin Workbench, which can keep up to five apps active on one screen.
Other highlights include Jovi AI, improved connectivity with Apple devices, and performance and battery optimisations.

Further devices from the Vivo X, S and iQOO series are scheduled to receive the update through December 2026 and January 2027.
OriginOS 7 Rollout For iQOO And Vivo
For users in India, the OriginOS 7 for iQOO and Vivo will rollout at a different timeline from the China schedule. Vivo has already opened the OriginOS 7 preview programme for the Vivo X300 Pro, while iQOO has offered preview access for the iQOO 15. The preview programme gives selected users an early look at the Android 17 based software before the wider rollout.
Vivo is expected to expand OriginOS 7 to more smartphones and regions over the coming months. Users should check their phone's software update section for the availability of the stable update.
