Realme Q2 To Launch In India Soon, BIS Listing Spotted

Realme Q2 with the model number RMX2117 appears to be heading to India soon. Moreover, the listing has surfaced on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. It debuted in China alongside Realme Q2Pro and Realme Q2i in October.

Tipster Mukul Sharma tweeted an image on Twitter that shows the BIS listing of a new Realme phone.

The listing of the new model suggests the imminent launch of Realme Q2 in India.

Realme Q2 Specifications

It features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, this dual-SIM (Nano) phone runs on Android 10 with Realme UI on top. 

The phone is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC. In addition, it comes with up to 6GB of RAM. Realme Q2 has 128GB of onboard storage that supports expansion via a microSD card.

It houses a triple rear camera setup that includes a 48-MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens. The setup also comes with an 8-MP-wide-angle shooter and a 2-MP macro shooter. Realme Q2 also features a 16-MP camera sensor at the front, with an f/2.1 lens.

The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging. It measures 162.2×75.1×9.1mm and weighs 194 grams.

Realme Q2 price in India is yet to be revealed. However, the phone was launched in China at CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs. 14,600) for the 4GB + 128GB storage variant. Whereas, it is CNY 1,399 (roughly Rs. 15,800) for the 6GB + 128GB storage model.

However, Realme is yet to provide an official word on the launch and pricing of the new smartphone.
