Realme hinted at a new smartphone with a periscope telephoto camera. Although the teaser doesn’t reveal which model it is, there are rumours that the company is teasing an upcoming numbered series smartphone, the Realme 12 Pro Plus. But it could also be the Realme GT5 Pro, which was launched in China earlier this year. After all, this news comes from his recent X post from Realme. Anyway, Realme has started the hype for its next phone. Realme’s Indian arm posted an image of a periscope camera on X with the text: “No periscope.”Not a flagship”. This will be the first phone with a periscope telephoto lens manufactured by Realme from China. His last and first Relame phone with a periscope camera was the Realme X3 SuperZoom. Which was released in India in 2020. Realme also launched the Realme GT5 Pro this year. But, it is still exclusive to China and it is unclear whether this phone will be withdrawn from the domestic market soon. On the other hand, tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd), who reposted the Realme X post, wrote: “Exclusive, Realme 12 Pro+ launching at the end of next month or in February 2024. Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series chipset (most probably 7s Gen 2).”

Beyond the other expected specifications of the Realme 12 Pro Plus. But, it is said to come with a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. The device is likely to be released at a price of around CNY 2,000 which is approximately 23,000 rupees in the mid-range smartphone segment. It is likely to be premiered alongside Realme 12 and Realme 12 Pro.
