Xiaomi 12 series launch rumours have surfaced quite a few times in the past few months. But in the last month, the leaks and rumours circling around the series have increased. Earlier, this month, the series received a BIS certification and along with some other information leaking out. But from what we gathered, the company is planning to launch these smartphones very soon.
Just earlier this week, Xiaomi announced that the upcoming Xiaomi 12 series will power on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. In addition, claiming that it will be the first one to feature it on their smartphones. Although until now, it has only hinted at a December launch. But earlier rumours have also hinted at the same launch timeline. But it looks like the launch date has also leaked online.

According to noted tipster Digital Chat Station, the company will unveil the Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi 12X, and Xiaomi12 Pro together. He claims that the launch of the series will happen on December 28, 2021. However, we cannot be sure as the company has not confirmed the news as of yet. He also revealed that it may launch three smartphones with the internal codename L3A, L3, and L2 together. At this point, it remains a mystery as to whether it will feature the new Qualcomm SoC on all three models.

Both Xiaomi 12 and Xiaomi12X could feature curved displays and symmetrical speakers. The standard variant could also come with a Full-HD+ (1,080×2,400) AMOLED display this year, with a 120Hz refresh rate. This is a step down from the Mi 11 – which featured a 1440p display. The handset could also sport a 50-megapixel primary camera and support along with 100W fast charging, according to previous reports.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi 12 is said to sport a curved screen with a punch hole at the centre for the selfie camera, an FHD+ pixels resolution, and a Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. We should learn more details about the Xiaomi 12 series going forward.
