Xiaomi is gearing up to launch its Xiaomi16 series in China next month. The lineup comprises the Xiaomi 16, Xiaomi 16 Pro, Xiaomi 16 Ultra, and Xiaomi 16 Pro Max. The series is set to be among the first smartphones powered by the next-generation flagship Snapdragon chipset. The company has already shared a few key details about the upcoming devices. Xiaomi 16 Series Leaks: First To Sport Latest Snapdragon SoC

According to the leaks, the series – Xiaomi 16, Xiaomi 16 Pro, and Xiaomi 16 Pro Max could be the first devices to launch with the upcoming flagship Snapdragon chipset. This wouldn’t be unexpected, given Xiaomi’s strong ties with Qualcomm. The previous flagship models from the brand have often been among the first to showcase the latest Snapdragon 8 series processors.

According to the leaks, the upcoming Xiaomi 16 smartphone series will undergo “significant changes” in terms of its overall design, product concept, and market strategy. A notable addition to the series is the all-new Pro Max model. Meanwhile, rumors suggest Xiaomi may also introduce a compact version, the Xiaomi 16 Pro Mini, which may pack a massive 6,300mAh battery, support wireless charging, and include a periscope-style telephoto camera.

Leaks suggest that both the standard Xiaomi 16 and the Xiaomi 16 Pro Mini will feature a 6.3-inch display, while the Xiaomi 16 Pro could sport a larger 6.8-inch screen. The Xiaomi 16 and 16 Pro may sport a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel main sensor with a 1/1.3-inch size, alongside a 50-megapixel front-facing camera offering a wide field of view and autofocus capabilities. Additionally, the standard Xiaomi 16 is rumored to house a massive 7,000mAh battery.
The Xiaomi 16 series will debut in China this September, with a global rollout likely to follow a few months afterward, potentially extending into early 2026.
