The Nothing Phone 1, OPPO Reno8 Pro and OnePlus 9RT come with a 4500mAh battery compared to the 5000mAh battery of the Samsung Galaxy A73 5G. 

    Key observations

    • Before starting the battery test, we pushed the brightness to full and turned off the dark and auto-bright modes. 
    • In terms of processors, the Dimensity 8100 Max in the Oppo Reno 8 Pro is being compared with Snapdragon 888 in 9RT. In contrast, you’ll see the Snapdragon 778+ 5G in Nothing Phone 1 and Snapdragon 778G in Galaxy A73 5G.

    Display test

    Now, to find out the best battery between these four phones, we’ve done the display test. In this test, we streamed a video for 1 hour and checked the battery drop. Even after 30 minutes, the battery drop in the Nothing Phone 1 was less than compared to the other three phones. Furthermore, after 60 minutes, the results are pretty similar. The battery drop in the Nothing Phone 1 was less than in the other three phones.

    Gaming test

    Next, the gaming test is performed with these phones for 30 minutes. So, here we choose to play a heavy graphic game, Asphalt 9. After 30 minutes of non-stop playing, the results came out to be surprising. In Nothing Phone 1, a significant battery drop was observed compared to the other phones in use. Furthermore, the temperature is significantly warmer on all these phones while playing heavy graphic games.

    Video recording test

    Afterwards, we started the test by turning on the camera for 30 minutes, and after completing the duration, all the phones were entirely warmed up. Surprisingly, in this test, the battery drops less in the OnePlus 9RT than in the other phones. 

    Benchmark test

    We compared the AnTutu scores of all four phones in the following test to know the exact battery drop. So, after completing the three rounds of the AnTutu benchmark, the Nothing Phone 1 and the Galaxy A73 5G performed better than the two other flagship phones. 

    Social media test

    Here, in this test, we scrolled Instagram for 30 minutes. And also, we’ve scrolled a few reels to check the exact battery drop on these phones. Finally, the battery drop in the Nothing Phone 1 and Galaxy A73 5G was less than the Oppo Reno 8 Pro and OnePlus 9RT. 

    Final words

    With this battery test, one thing is clear that the Nothing Phone 1 and Galaxy A73 5G, which are two mid-range phones, have performed better and have better battery efficiency than the other two flagship phones we tested in the article.
