    Highlights of the Story

    • Recently, the OnePlus 9 series was said to have three models
    • A tipster has now revealed that the series will have just two phones
    • The vanilla OnePlus 9 will have three different model numbers

OnePlus does this thing with its flagship devices where is denotes them with the letter “T”. This letter mostly denotes the annual flagships by the company. This can be seen in the OnePlus 8T, which was launched as an upgrade to the OnePlus 8 last month. Moreover, the OnePlus 7T was launched as a mid-year refresher upgrade to the OnePlus 7 last year. However, this time, OnePlus might have different plans with the 9 series of devices.

    What More?

Previously, a post on Weibo had stated that there will be three OnePlus 9 series devices. However, the new leak completely refutes these claims. Moreover, one of the third rumored devices was expected to launch as the OnePlus 9 Ultra or 9T. However, that will most likely not happen going by the recent leak.
