    About the Phone

Vivo X21i is a good purchase as it incorporates a number of advanced features, but you may find it a bit costly as many of its competitors are providing better features in comparatively lower price. Let’s discuss its pros and cons:

    Pros

    • Good Battery Life
    • Available in a range of colour variants
    • Sleek design and lightweight
    • Good Storage
    • Supports full high-definition video recording at 1080 pixels at 30fps
    • Includes rear-mounted Fingerprint sensor

    Cons

    • Doesn’t integrate stereo speakers
    • Lack of display protection like Gorilla Glass
    • Lacks NFC connectivity support
    • Lacks gyro sensor
    • Lacks support for wireless charging
    • Presence of hybrid SIM slot restricts using microSD and SIM cards simultaneously
    • Higher cost against available features

Though Vivo X21i lacks many of the basic features, the decision over- if you should or should not buy it truly depends on one’s individual preferences. However, you can consider it as one of the purchase options if you are ready to compromise on the basic features and focused more on getting some advanced features.

Vivo X21i runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) and contains an excellent screen with the resolution of 1080 X 2280 pixels (FHD+). It is something that will definitely attract Android purists and gamer to some extent. Priced at Rs.28, 790, this smartphone is a perfect option for those who love to handle big screens.

Though the phone showcase high display resolution specifications, it cuts back on some basic features. While the phone supports fast charging, it dissatisfies its customers with the incorporation of non-removable battery. At the same, the phone is a bit pricey as some of the Vivo’s smartphones offer better features in the lower price range.

With size dimensions of 154.4 x 75 x 7 mm or 6.08 x 2.95 x 0.28 inches, the phone weighs 159 grams, which makes it quite competitive in today’s smartphone industry. On the other side, the Hybrid Dual SIM does not allow users to use SIM and microSD at the same time, which can be a drawback. However, availability of colour variants, including Ruby Red, Black, Night Purple, and Aurora White can attract the audience to some extent.

Vivo X21i, powered by Helio P60, is a bezel-less smartphone integrated with multi-core AI processor. It possesses a 6.28 inches Super AMOLED capacitive display with a resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels (FHD+). The screen/ size ratio constitutes 85%, which makes watching video and playing games fun. The 4GB and 6GB RAM with 64GB and 128 GB storage (which is expandable by up to 256 Gigabytes’ microSD card) provides real value for money. It allows storing bulk media, including high-end games, without affecting the performance of the device.

Vivo X21i smartphone is built using MediaTek Helio P60 that delivers efficient performance and longer battery life. The chip is developed using 12nm technology that optimizes the device for most demanding apps. The chip brings intelligence to the smartphone making it more intelligent and efficient. Faster data connection technology improves the performance of the device. So good, so far!

Octa-core 2 GHz processor with 64-bit architecture and 6 GB RAM proves to be faster when it comes to multitasking. Vivo X21i uses Android v8.1 (Oreo) that offers a lag-free and seamless performance.

Vivo X21i comes with the dual camera setup. The primary 12mp camera and 5 megapixels secondary camera support AR stickers and Panorama features. 24 megapixels front facing camera supports face recognition and AI beauty mode. To sum up, the camera specifications seems to satisfy the selfie-obsessed audience.

Face detection feature renders advanced security as the user can unlock its phone using Face ID.

The battery life of 3245mAh makes it a preferred option for those who are always on the go. Vivo X21i offers a good battery in comparison to some of its rivals. The Li-Polymer battery is non-removable and supports fast charging. The device is equipped with a Type C USB.

Vivo X21i provides everything but not at its best. Perhaps, the phone is one of the Vivo’s top-class flagship products; it lags in delivering some of the essential features. It’s a powerful smartphone with top-tier technology and a simple user interface that provides better than average experience. However, it seems to be quite costly, considering its features. If you can compromise on some of the advanced features such as wireless charging and a strong display protection, then Vivo X21i is a recommended option for you.

It is recommended to check other Vivo smartphones before purchasing X21i as you might get better features in the same price range.
