Key Findings & Analysis
After testing all four Chrome extensions across electronics, fashion, and daily essentials, one thing became clear: there isn’t a single extension that’s perfect for every shopper. Each one solves a different problem. The real value depends on how you shop and what kind of information you need before making a purchase.
1. BuyHatke delivered the most complete shopping experience
Out of all the extensions tested, BuyHatke stood out as the most well-rounded shopping companion.
It covered almost everything I look for before buying a product:

- Current price analysis
- AI-powered shopping insights
- Coupon suggestions
- Price comparisons across shopping platforms
- Recommendations on whether it’s a good time to buy
Instead of simply showing a discount, BuyHatke helped answer the bigger question: “Am I actually getting a good deal?”
Another feature I found useful was its AI-generated value score and buying recommendation. If a product was already selling close to its historical low, the extension indicated that it was a good time to purchase. If not, it suggested waiting for a better deal.

2. Flipshope came close, but needed a few extra steps

The downside was convenience.
In several cases, I had to manually paste the product link into the Flipshope website to access the full insights, even though I already had the browser extension installed. That added an extra step to the shopping experience.
Unlike BuyHatke, Flipshope also didn’t make it as easy to compare prices across multiple shopping websites. During testing, I also had limited success with coupon recommendations.
That said, if your primary goal is tracking product prices and receiving price alerts, Flipshope still performs well. It simply requires a little more effort from the user.

Its focus is Amazon price tracking, and that’s exactly where it kills it.

However, Keepa doesn’t offer coupon discovery, cashback, or cross-platform price comparisons.
If you understand these limitations before installing it, the experience is actually quite satisfying. It delivers exactly what it promises without unnecessary distractions.
For regular Amazon shoppers who prefer waiting for the right moment to buy, Keepa remains one of the strongest price tracking tools available.
4. CouponDunia speeds up coupon hunting
CouponDunia serves a completely different purpose from the other extensions in this comparison.
Instead of tracking prices or analysing historical trends, its primary job is to help users discover coupon codes and available offers while shopping online.
During testing, I noticed that many of the coupons suggested by CouponDunia were already available on the shopping website itself. The extension didn’t necessarily unlock exclusive discounts.
Its biggest advantage was convenience.
Rather than manually trying multiple coupon codes one after another, CouponDunia gathered the available offers in one place and helped apply the most relevant one quickly.
If your goal is to make sure you haven’t missed any available coupon before checkout, CouponDunia is useful.
If you’re looking for price history, buying recommendations, or cross-platform price comparisons, you’ll need another extension alongside it.

My Take
If I had to choose just one extension based on this experiment, BuyHatke would be my recommendation.
It offered the most complete shopping experience by combining price history, shopping insights, coupon support, buying recommendations, and price comparisons in a single extension. Throughout the testing process, it consistently felt like the most reliable and convenient tool.
That said, I don’t think shoppers should limit themselves to just one extension.
Each of these tools has its own strengths, and combining them creates a much smarter shopping setup.
For example:
