1. Realme Narzo 20 Pro

Narzo 20 Pro

The Realme Narzo 20 Pro was launched at a jaw-dropping price of Rs. 14999. Bringing the crazy 65W fast charging into the budget segment, the phone created quite a stir in the smartphone world with its impressive specifications.

The device is powered by the latest Mediatek Helio G95 SoC coupled with up to 8 GB of RAM. The processor is arguably the best performing SoC in the price range and gives tough competition to the likes of the Snapdragon 730G or 750G.

Moreover, with Mediatek’s hyper-engine gaming technology, the gaming performance of the Narzo 20 Pro improves by leaps and bounds. Its decent 4,500mAh battery will deliver a great screen-on time easily. Even if the battery gets drained out, the 65W Super Dart charger comes to the rescue, which can juice up the device within 35 minutes! The device also has a 90Hz high refresh rate display, which will further enhance the gaming experience. Heating issues on the device are negligible, thanks to the carbon fiber cooling system present on the device.

Other specifications of the Realme Narzo 20 Pro include a 48MP quad-camera setup, a 6.5-inch FHD LCD 90Hz screen, USB-C charging port, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and up to 128GB of storage.

2. IQOO 3

The IQOO 3 marks the entry of the Vivo sub-brand here in India. Initially launched for Rs. 36999, the device is now mostly available under Rs. 32k in the online market.

The device has got the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset along with support for 5G bands. While there are other SD 865 powered smartphones in this price range, we chose the IQOO 3 because of its dedicated gaming features.

On the right side, the iQOO 3 features a pair of touch-sensitive air triggers that can be used as two additional triggers/buttons that can come in handy for battle royale games like Call of Duty. They come with extremely low latency and enhance the gaming experience by allowing you to focus entirely on the screen rather than covering the display with your hands. Their functions can be customized by the gaming-oriented user interface that is integrated into its IQOO UI.

The Ultra Gaming mode available on the IQOO 3 can prove to be quite useful, as it blocks unnecessary notifications and calls to provide a seamless gaming experience. The 4400 mAh battery capacity is enough to run CoD Mobile for a considerable amount of time, and the 55W fast charging gets the job done within half an hour.

However, the refresh rate of the smartphone is capped to 60Hz, which might be a huge disappointment for some of us. Moving to other details, the IQOO 3 boasts of a 48MP quad-camera setup, a 6.44 inches FHD+ AMOLED display, an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, a dedicated Google Assistant button, and a 16MP punch-hole selfie shooter.

3. Asus ROG 3

Asus’s ROG series has always been the first choice of gamers, whether in laptops or smartphones. Priced at Rs. 49999, the ROG Phone 3 is probably the best value-for-money gaming smartphone that you can buy.

The device is powered by the top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ SoC coupled with up to 12GB of RAM. The ROG 3 has got some cool features, such as an RGB back panel, heat sync vent, liquid cooling, and support for various accessories to enhance the gaming experience. All these elements appeal a lot to gaming enthusiasts, as a result of which Asus has delivered the best possible design for the smartphone.

The Asus ROG Phone 3 has probably the best speakers on any Android smartphone right now, because of the 7-magnet speaker setup present on the front and bottom. Although the phone misses the 3.5mm jack, Asus has managed to offer 2 USB-C charging ports, one on the bottom and the other one on the side, so that you can charge the smartphone even while gaming. Further, the ROG 3 carries a 6000mAh battery, which is the largest in its segment, paired with 30W fast charging.

The large 6.59-inch FHD AMOLED screen comes with a 144Hz refresh rate, which makes the device buttery smooth to use. Moreover, Asus has given users the option to choose between a gaming themed UI or clean stock Android experience. The camera setup on the ROG 3 is decent too since it features a 64 MP SONY IMX 686 triple camera system.

Oneplus 8T 5G

The phone takes a prominent position in our list because of the Snapdragon 865 chipset that is present on board. Oneplus’s Oxygen OS has always been praised for its rich and close to stock Android experience. The ‘Game Space’ application can be used to block unnecessary interruptions. When turned ON, the gaming mode on the Oneplus 8T 5G delivers excellent performance in CoD Mobile or any other game with smooth frames.

Its 4,500mAh battery gets the job done for most of the usage scenarios. Even while gaming, if the phone runs out of power, its 65W Warp Charge can fill the battery unit within 38 minutes. On the front, a 6.55 inches FHD Fluid AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate is present to deliver excellent results while scrolling or gaming. The Oneplus 8T also has a stereo speaker set up, which further enhances the gaming performance.

5. LG Velvet Dual

The LG Velvet Dual Screen smartphone was launched as a cheaper alternative to foldable smartphones. It can be used as a normal smartphone, as well as a foldable device by attaching the additional cover display.

LG Velvet Dual

Although the device is powered by the not-so-powerful Snapdragon 845 SoC, it can be readily used as a gaming device thanks to the dual-screen setup. You can set up the controls on the cover screen, while the battle-ground content is displayed on the main screen or visa serva. With this arrangement, the experience gets much richer.

While you are not gaming, the dual-screen LG Velvet will serve you by running two different applications simultaneously, providing seamless multitasking capabilities. Furthermore, the large 6.8 inches FHD P-OLED screen will bring an immersive experience while playing CoD Mobile. The LG Velvet Dual has a 3D sound engine so that the audio experience gets more realistic and accurate. The phone packs a 4300 mAh battery along with support for fast charging as well.

The A14 chipset is so powerful that it can run CoD Mobile on the highest possible graphics and frame rates, without any major heating issues. The iPhone 12 Pro Max runs on the latest iOS 14 which is well optimized for gaming as well as multitasking. Impressive RAM management and lag-free software add to a polished gaming experience.
