Huawei Y7A

Expanding the portfolio of budget smartphones, Huawei Y7A was launched by the Huawei brand in October 2020. It was revealed that the latest offering from the company is a rebranded version of the Huawei P Smart which was launched recently by Huawei. The Huawei Y7A is the budget-friendly smartphone featuring a modern design, sizeable display, large battery and a Quad-camera setup. It was unveiled in Blush Gold, Midnight Black and Crush green colour options.

Huawei Y7A Price in India

The Huawei Y7A is launched globally and available at MYR 799, which converts to Rs.14200 in Indian rupees. The given price is for the 4GB/128GB variant. Also, the company has launched another variant featuring 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage but available in Latin American markets only.

From the front side, Huawei Y7A is designed with a punch-hole display covering the whole front area. The punch-hole is housing the selfie shooter. There are prominent bezels on the bottom side and the edges are curved for providing comfortable touch to your hands. On the rear side, it is designed with a Quad-camera setup in a square-shaped module, placed on the top right side in a vertical position along with an LED flash. The fingerprint sensor has been integrated with the power button and placed on the right side along with the volume buttons. The bottom side is included with a charging port, speaker grille and 3.5mm headphone jack.

The height of this smartphone is 165.65 mm, the width is 76.88 and the depth is 9.26 mm because of the large 5000 mAh battery under the hood. The overall weight is 206 grams approximately.

Huawei Y7A comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+ display, featuring a resolution of 1080 by 2400 pixels. Also, there is a remarkable 90.3% screen-to-body ratio for ensuring a better visual experience. The front camera is there in the middle and provides minimal disruption. The display comes with the TFT LCD technology and supports 16.7 million colours.

This section is a little outdated for this price segment. The Huawei Y7A is stuffed with the company’s Kirin 710A Octa-core Processor and for handling the graphics there is Mali G51-Mp4. The chipset is not intended for heavy gamers but sufficient for handling the multitasking with ease. It is clubbed with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Huawei Y7A is 4G enabled and the internal storage can be expanded up to 512GB via a dedicated micro SD slot.

The device is running on Android 10 based EMUI 10.1 under the hood. Huawei Y7A supports WLAN, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, AGPS, Glonass and BeiDou.

This is the highlighting department of this latest budget phone from Huawei. There is an AI Quad-camera setup on the rear side featuring a 48MP High-resolution lens with an aperture of f/1.8, an 8MP 120 Ultra-wide Angle lens with an aperture of f/2.4, a 2MP Depth lens with an aperture of f/2.4 and another 2MP Macro lens with an aperture of f/2.4. All these features make Huawei Y7A the best camera phone under the budget-friendly price range.   

On the front side, the selfie shooter under the punch-hole is featuring an 8MP camera with an aperture of f/2.0 for capturing the best moments of your life.

There is a whopping 5000 mAh battery under the hood The huge battery collaborates with the intelligent AI power-saving algorithm for ensuring 38.2 hours of 4G calling, 16.6 hours of online video playback and 12 hours of 4G web surfing. The smartphone battery supports 22.5W fast charging technology. There is a Type-C charging port provided on the bottom side for connecting the charger with the device.

Huawei Y7A is a stunning smartphone for those who are looking for a budget-friendly device with ample storage option, huge battery backup along with mesmerizing camera quality. But it is not recommended for gaming enthusiasts.
